  6. What it does:
  7.  
  8.     This archive contains files to translate the German language version
  9. of the RUFUS telecommunication program to English.  Program, resource, and
  10. documentation translations are provided in the most compact form available.
  11.  
  12.     Three new files are also packed in to help in your use of RUFUS.  New 
  13. RUFUS.INF and RUFUS.RUF files should replace those from the original archive.
  14. CISLOG.RUF is included to get a user onto Compuserve®.

  38. How to use it:
  39.  
  40.      **COPY** RUFUS version 1.06 and its resource file to a new disk or
  41. folder.  Place the complete contents of the UPDATE folder in the same place.
  42. Then run SUPERZAP.PRG.  Select "read a ZAP file" and choose the PROGRAM.ZAP
  43. file.  Click on the "Translate RUFUS.APP" button.  The file selector will
  44. appear.  Select RUFUS.APP and SUPERZAP goes to work.  A dialog will come up
  45. showing the success of the update.
  46.     Repeat these steps for the file RUFUS.RSC choosing RESOURCE.ZAP and
  47. clicking on "Translate Resource" button.  Your files are now in 100% English.
  48. Test run RUFUS to be sure the program still works.  If not, repeat the
  49. procedure on a new copy of RUFUS.APP and RUFUS.RSC.
  50.     When satisfied you have a working copy, move the translated files and
  51. the three other RUFUS files to where you want them.  You may erase the ZAP 
  52. files and SUPERZAP as they are of no further use.
  53.     The files in the DOCUMENT folder are to replace the equivalent ones
  54. you received with RUFUS.
  55.  
  56. Possible ERRORS:
  57.  
  58.     SUPERZAP may give the following errors while attempting the translation:
  59.  
  60. "File is too [long | short]! Yikes"  You have a different version of a file
  61.     from what was used to produce the ZAP files.  No translation is 
  62.     possible with this updater version, contact me on CIS for help.  Also,
  63.     you may have selected the wrong file.  Try again before you panic.
  64.  
  65. "File is not the right version! Yikes"  Same as above.
  66.  
  67. "Not a valid ZAP file!"  You may have selected the wrong file, try again.
  68.  
  69. "Cannot erase old file!"  The copy of the file you are working on is read only.
  70.     Use the file selector which comes up after the warning and enter a new
  71.     file name for the translated file.

  77. even in its current unfinished Shareware form, is a valuable program for the
  78. ATARI ST community.  With this reasoning we are providing this translation
